Nathaniel Dybevik - Founder and Piano Technician

Nathaniel Dybevik is the founder of The N. Dybevik Piano Company, established in 2011 with the support of the Spaceworks program. With a deep passion for piano technology and rebuilding, Nathaniel began his professional journey in a creative space on 1312 MLK Way in Tacoma. Here, he studied piano technology and honed his skills in restoration and rebuilding techniques, including refinishing, stringing, and action repair. This collaborative environment fostered the exchange of ideas among artists, woodworkers, and musicians, contributing to the growth of innovative projects.

In 2015, Nathaniel relocated his operations to South Tacoma Way, partnering with the Manteufel Piano Company. During this time, he assisted in the production of numerous soundboards and led the refinishing and stringing departments. While at Manteufel, Nathaniel continued to expand his tuning clientele and build a strong network of satisfied customers. Following the closure of Manteufel Piano in 2021, he has focused on serving clients throughout the Puget Sound region.

Today, Nathaniel provides reliable piano tuning and regulation services across the South Puget Sound area. His dedication to quality service and his humble approach have earned him a trusted and respected reputation in the piano community.

Nathaniel's services extend to school districts, a University Music School, ballet academies, churches, and concert venues. He is also the treasurer and an active member of the Piano Technicians Guild, highlighting his dedication to his craft and his engagement with the professional community.
